A downloadable game

Agelong is a turn-based strategy game about the whole road of humankind. You start with a handful of people around a fire and lead them through the ages: villages, kingdoms, industry, the atomic age, and finally the stars. Alone or with up to 3 friends online.

Cities without a grid

You draw the roads yourself: straight, curved, rings, whole blocks. Every building stands freely along them, and its door has to face a road, so your city grows the way you plan it. Tents become huts, huts become stone houses, and one day the town becomes a metropolis.

Every discovery is a choice

The science tree doesn't hand out +10% bonuses. Learn the wheel and you get a water mill that makes the fields around it richer, so where you put it matters. Writing brings a scribes' school, and now you decide who works the fields and who studies. Irrigation lets you dig canals from the river and bring water where there was none.

A living economy

Water, food, wood, stone, planks, iron and horses. Winters when the fields lie bare and every home needs firewood. Stores that fill up. People who leave when they go hungry.

Battles on small hexes

Out in the world, units move on a fine hex grid: zones of control, archers shooting over your warriors, watchtowers and stone walls. Barbarian camps grow in the wild, send scouts to find you and war parties to burn what you left unguarded.

Where it is now

The first era is playable: founding a camp, roads and free building, growth and seasons, the science tree, units and combat, barbarians, and multiplayer for 1 to 4 players. Next come AI rivals and the following eras.

I really enjoyed playing this game! You can clearly see the amount of time, effort, and creativity that went into making it. The concept is interesting, the gameplay is engaging, and the overall experience makes me want to keep playing and discover more. I especially appreciate the idea behind the game and the way everything comes together. It’s always great to see someone turn their ideas into something real and share it with others. I think this game has a lot of potential, and I’m excited to see how it develops in the future. With more updates, new features, and improvements, it could become something truly special. Keep up the great work, and don’t stop creating! I’m looking forward to seeing what comes next. You should definitely be proud of what you’ve achieved so far. Wishing you the best of luck with the project, and I hope more people discover and enjoy this game as much as I did!
